Not that I have a dog in this race or anything, but can you explain how this Milo dude is a Nazi? I don’t recall ever hearing him call for the extermination of any particular race or sex/gender. I don’t hear him claiming people need to rise up and be violent against those that disagree. I don’t hear him saying that…

Milo is a dipshit but I feel like ignoring him is the best course of action. He wants protests and attention.

The violence was started by (at the least) non UC-affiliated people. It was a group of blac bloc anarchists. Upsetting because it mars the (important) protest.

I’d like to say that being there and reading reports *including yours* really drives home how the media loves stories that sound scary, alarming, too-good-to-be-true. When shit starts getting smashed and fires get started those people are not protesters. Don’t lump them in with protesters. They are rioters. Calling them protesters just gives the Nazis more ammo to make real protesters look bad.
