Miscellaneous thoughts.
1, Nice of Euron to leave Yara alive, what for Theon’s late-season redemption moment. Considerate uncle, that guy.
2. It’s more the writing of Daenerys than Emilia Clarke’s fault, but they’re going to have to find some range for her to play with soon. Her performance as a steeled 100% bad biatch

“Love”, for lack of a better word, is a damn hard and intimidating subject to tackle at the highest level. Perhaps the singularly most elusive subject matter there is. Think about how few, if really any, of the “pantheon” of televisions dramas really go at it in their biggest moments. And so I applaud Lindelof & co.

Enjoyed it fine. Personally I found this season to settle between s3 but well below 1 & 2. It was solid, first half was excellent. But Josh's performance aside I never found Chase to be nearly as satisfying or formidable as others here. Too thinly sketched motive-wise, and honestly I'm still a little soured that

I truly believe the writers had hoped for someone else to be Prometheus (cough Tommy cough) and intended Chase to indeed be Vigilante. However they always had Chase in mind as a backup Prometheus if push came to shove. That said. I don't think they had a concrete answer as to who they even wanted Vigilante to be then.

If nothing else, you have to give the writers credit for coming up with one of the more loaded-with-potential reboots of a show in quite some time. Also was relieved to see the condition Clarke was in after the time jump.

I''m sorry, but it's way too soon to call Octavia as much of a leader as Clarke is. Yes she's a badasss warrior (nevermind the illogical transformation timeline mind you), but she's been a leader for about all of 3 episodes, and spent the previous 2 seasons essentially hating everyone/clan to various degrees for

After finishing s2, I've come to the seemingly very contrarian opinion that I think the first was the better of the two

The “A” grade is stunning to me. Last week I didn’t buy that Chase had any real validity in his notion that the Hood/Arrow/Green Arrow was an excuse for Oliver Morgan to indulge his urges, and I didn’t buy that Oliver would believe it either. But others did, and I could at least see why. But this follow through is

Unpopular opinion: I’ve about had it with Raven this season. I know she’s the badass I’m supposed to love and she’s literally brain damaged, but it feels like all she’ s done is condescendingly bitch at the people making tough decisions (especially Clarke) while never offering up viable alternatives. The one move she

The flashbacks, especially the climactic Oliver v. Drago fight, were dynamite. And since the episode was majority flashback I’d say I enjoyed the ep. The stuff in the present day (which is almost always the focus) is really faltering for me though.

I’ll be that guy… I’m feeling like the show is running out of the goodwill the first half of the season accumulated. Glad others are still enthralled, but this did not do it for me.
-Oliver’s asinine idea to throw the GA under the bus didn’t pass the smell test then, and seems downright moronic now. Captain Pike’s
