@rbgaynor: I thought only Server had that and they eventually removed it.

The USB screen isn't much a feat since the CPU and interface does the processing. THe two screens (integrated and external) are the only ones running from the integrated video hardware and that is more about Video memory than anything.

Interestingly enough, the original color for the Klingon Battle Cruiser in the original Star Trek was also a dark Purple. It wasn't until filming that they decided to make it appear silver/grey like the other ships on the show.

Doesn't Intel offer a similar streaming capabilitiy that allows streaming the entire PC screen to a capable TV or a TV with an adapter? I think it requires certain Intel CPU/chipsets but works similarly to airplay, just without the restricitons.

@vinod1978: Apple TV has horrible load times. I've tried streaming content from iTunes and my own content formatted for the ATV and it takes sometimes up to 5 minutes to start streaming and it still stutters on a Wireless-N connection. I've not tried Ethernet yet but I'm not holding my breath.

From the comments below, the aquisition of id Software couldn't have come at a better time.

On the other hand, I went through security with a six inc long folded metal contraption that LOOKED like a folding blade and I got pulled aside until they confirmed it was my iPad stand.

@L3gato: Considering XNA was created specifically for game development and not app development I wouldn't have expected a browser. It was never intended to be a full application development platform.
