I have Picasa 3 for Mac and I can't find this (even the menu) anywhere.

I wish portable OpenOffice had made this list.

VOTE Firefox Portable

VOTE OpenOffice Portable

It's a tough call for me so I'll vote twice, once for each of the two: OpenOffice Portable and Firefox Portable

I have to say that I think the Palm story is #1. Personally, and with some tremendous bias, I would go for Picasa on the Mac as #2 (but that is the only app I've missed since switching to the Mac. I really don't like iPhoto).

@Tyson Williams: I do! The only unrated tracks I have in iTunes are the ones that I haven't listened to. I'd really love to find out how to do this in Windows!

I really hope so. Compared to iPhoto Picasa rocks. I barely do anything with my photos now that I have a Mac because I hate iPhoto compared to Picasa.

Aside from having a lot mainstream support wasn't the point of Joost to be like file sharing except for streaming video in a distributed manner? That's what I thought it was initially but at least now I'll probably get better quality video because I've always gotten stuttering video from Joost and that's why I don't

This is so awesome. I've really been hoping for something like this!

I HATE the new look. I really wish there was a way to make the text smaller without making it all smaller through the browser.

What's the objection to this? I happen to like it.

OK, everything here works except setting up the logo. I've tried inserting it at the beginning of the document and the end and almost everywhere in between with no luck. Is there anyone who could help me?

Firefox, OpenOffice (I have a PC at work), NeoOffice (I have a Mac at home) and PortableApps

I pay $6/month on T-Mobile and have what is essentially an unlocked phone so I use a lot of data, far more than I ever did on Verizon where I paid $15/month. Thanks to Lifehacker I find out about all kinds of cool java apps for my phone.

Hells no. I know that by the time I got enough muscle in it so that I'd be satisfied I'd wish I'd gone for a real notebook instead.

They still exist?

I always get rid of the U3 software and load PortableApps instead. That platform rocks, and it's all free!

I won't get an iPhone regardless or the App Store policy because I've had AT&T and didn't like them and the monthly data charge is outrageous. I would consider getting an iPod Touch regardless if the prices were better. I guess it's the Nano for me for a while longer.

For me it depends on the company. Nearly everything Google does has the Beta tag but usually runs well. Other companies are not as reliable. I think my comfort level depends on their reputation.
