Astoundingly, out of all of them I’ve only been to Shinjuku Gyoen last year during cherry blossom season. It was an amazing (much needed) change of pace from walking out from Shinjuku station, because holy hell busy overload.

My (relatively simple) DDR cab already intimidates the hell out of me. I have a local friend who restores/operates pins at an arcade and holy hell. Just looking at the underside of the board about gives me a migraine...
I only watched Gankutsuou after actually reading The Count of Monte Cristo (Which quickly became my favorite book period), and even then it stands completely on its own. The art style DEFINTELY turned me off originally but I’m glad I gave it a 2nd chance, because it’s absolutely amazing.
