Also overlooked in this mess is the fact that if one Colts player can touch the ball and realize that it's underinflated, then there's no way that Tom Brady could have used them all game and not known they were underinflated. He has no plausible deniability.

This also applies to Wall Street crimes.

True, but sometimes it's worth squeezing one just the same.

Yay. More nominations for Wes Anderson and his twee character studies that go nowhere.

David Hume could out-consume Schopenhauer and Hegel,

You sound super duper extra-special fun!

I'd just be satisfied if they had to pay back the cost to the taxpayers.

You sound fun.

Also, it's worth point out that for many folks of my generation (born in the late 60's) we discovered Michael Moorcock via the "Deities and Demigods" book for AD&D (a game inspired heavily by Tolkien) which had entire chapters devoted to Newhon, Melnibone and Cthulu mythos. That game brought me three of my favorite

Sweet Jebzus you couldn't be more wrong. Listen, you can like Tolkien and not Moorcock, but to claim that Moorcock's Elric was not a response to Tolkien, when he has said so himself is just stupid.

This post was better and more informative than the New Yorker article. Thumbs way up.

This coming from the guy who got pathetically drunk and forgot to tell his brother that he'd won the Governor's Office ...

Start by cutting everything that wasn't in the book. That ought to get you down to 2 movies. From there, you decide what the primary story is and make sure you keep in all the scenes relevant to telling that story. Next, you decide what the secondary story is, and try to keep as much of that in while not

I thought I was the only one that hated Uncharted. I'M NOT ALONE!!!

Here's the equation at it's most basic:

Nice list! I would add to my list of "perfect movies" Apocalypse Now (the original not any of the later cuts) & Blade Runner (the last director's cut),

Adding Jay-Z is never a net positive ... even if it's Billy Joel.
