I was hoping for fun behind the scenes facts about planning for space travel, not a pile of tiktoks.

I do like when they cut out the middleman and just cast a stunt person as a character who has a big fight scene.
I stopped watching years ago (after Bobby’s death). But, I will maintain that the first five seasons of this show were some damned fine television, I’m happy for the makers of the show (everyone: actors, producers, writers, backstage crew), that it gave them something to be proud of being involved with for such a long…
That was not an easy watch for a family sharing their couch with a terminally ill cat. Relevant, though. The montage gave me a Six Feet Under finale vibe.
The Thomas Kinkade filter on all those photos hurt my eyes after the first dozen or so.
Shit, I was not actually prepared for that. I think it may be the fugliest interior design I’ve ever seen- and I frequent McMansion Hell. Even minus the mounds of ugly Christmas crap, you can still tell there’s a nightmare underneath. The fake flowers/plants alone.
With regard to the filming of season 3 next year, it may well be a blessing that the kids will have aged several years. (Trying not to be spoiler-y.)
Okay, now while this itself is amusing, I gotta step in here-
I feel like that since his loss, there has been very little media coverage of Trump’s tantrums. I have the feeling that outlets have taken on the attitude of “we don’t need to give you attention any more” and they are about 3.5 years too late.
Awesome, I did not know this was coming! For the longest time I just hoped that Allie Brosh was doing okay wherever she was because it had been so long since a new Hyperbole and a Half strip had been published and she had been so open about struggling with depression. Anyway, I’m glad she’s back.
“Zombie” is an interesting song for me because The Cranberries frigging suck, but somehow all the ways they sucked came together for that one song to make it perfect.
I kinda wish Miley’s career drifted more toward alt-county like Emmylou Harris or Lucinda Williams, because she’s got a great voice for it.
The pilot episode shows that inspired casting can’t overcome bad writing and direction. It’s contrived and joyless and WW comes across as a self centered corporate player.
This series should be listed among those ‘It would’ve been great of only it didn’t have those later seasons’ shows. I liked spunky working class Lorelai. Not so much after she incongruously became owner of a million dollar luxury inn. I liked overachieving schoolgirl Rory. Not so much needy neurotic college girl Rory.…
Good christ sir, doing your job for a bunch of people you don’t especially care for is something most people do every single fucking day.
“I was sort of born into a Subud cult that has ties to Islam and Indonesia and Middle Eastern spiritualism. My parents were kind of trial-and-error when it came to religion.” - Sufjan Stevens
Man, if an artist isn’t interested in participating in mainstream popular culture, I think they’re usually a little full of themselves, but fair play. But if an artist *participates* in mainstream popular culture while crowing about how empty and pathetic it is, I just have no time for them at all. Get a job, dink.
I miss bubbly, feel-good vibes of “John Wayne Gacy, Jr.”
Hey look, another slideshow I’m not clicking through!
