I wouldn’t begrudge anyone having a fun car the spends more time in the shop, I just definitely understand wanting a car that requires less fixing, regardless of whether it’s covered. My ideal would be one solidly reliable car plus a fun one I wouldn’t have to worry about.
So do people who drive $200,000 performance cars that are equally fuel inefficient and have even fewer practical uses bother you just as much?
Just bought SE4 on the damn Steam Summer Sale.
There’s nothing wrong with buying a car that you actually use. You are clearly not the average truck owner though.
Currency devaluation generally helps exporters.
I think that sort is an even bigger douchebag, but the catch is that there are a lot fewer of them.
I find conspicuous overconsumption pretty grating. People who drive gigantic fuel-inefficient vehicles and never or rarely use them as intended annoy me. Plenty of people seem to agree.
I live in Belgium, I have no problem “justifying” the purchase of non-American products. My US passport does not obligate me to pursue some quixotic mission to only contribute to the US economy.

People are not going to start buying American-built cars out of some sort of sense of patriotism on any scale. I don’t give a shit where my car gets built, as long as its not in a slave labor camp in North Korea.
Every car is a “foreign car,” a fact that is only going to get truer over time. Parts are made all over the world, final assembly is only a part of the process.
A warranty is nice, but when your car breaks down under warranty, you still have to take time and effort to get it fixed.
I live in a downtown in Europe, and am totally fine with this. If the main thing that makes your hobby fun is deafening/pissing off/waking up a bunch of other people, you might just be an asshole.
Take your moral panic bullshit back to the 19th century where it belongs.
Yes breastfeeding is natural and non-sexual behavior, but that should be kept in a private environment and not for the world to see.
and breastfeeding quite clearly qualifies as sexual content
