This is getting close to the ‘magazine vs. clip’ pedantry of gun humpers.
Fivethirty was pretty accurate, and if you read any of their commentary about how polling works, you’d know that they were very open with the strengths and weaknesses of polling. The people who really missed are the news outlets that interpreted a 35% chance of victory as “completely impossible.”
It’s amazing how many of the reviews manage to acknowledge their own mistake and still blame the developer: “Aren’t I a total mug preordering this?”
so in keeping with that Patriotic™ theme, you’d expect it to be built by striking coal workers in Yorkshire or something.
My “free” healthcare comes out of my 50% tax rate.

It drops by the inverse square of the distance (I think).
they get the same tax breaks as every other industry
It’s not just that we are the largest, as KSA once was, it’s that there are more producing countries than there used to be. That makes it harder for any actor, or even a cartel like OPEC to change prices much. When you add in contango storage, that makes global prices even less vulnerable to force.
