I think Joe Buck was trying to make good on the fact he was so pro-Dodgers last series. I'm glad the Cubs won so that this narrative can be over cause I don't really believe in curses, I believe in shitty management. But the pressure on those kids showed up in games 3 and 4 in Wrigley.

The underdog narrative was always Cleveland, especially after beating Boston and Toronto, then facing the monster that is the Cubs. Being up 3-1 in the series and losing it all in the 10th inning of game 7 is the definition of "choking", which is the source of humor in these memes.

I'm not mad about it. But the significance of the event is so big that it was weird to find out that was the halfway point. If I remember correctly the tone of the game changes from creepy mystery to guns blazing gore fest so drastically that it seemed like the ending was coming much sooner.

I remember getting to that part too and thinking how I must be close to the end and accidentally pulling an all nighter because the game kept going.

Forza games are so good, especially the Horizon series.
