It bugs me when women take away other women’s agency. If she wants to do slapstick comedy and she’s great at it, who are you to be bothered by the career she’s making for herself? Concern-troll much?

No one will believe me that Spy is good. I love that movie, it killed me.
I then it is a matter of low self esteem..she just doesn’t know how awesome she really is.
lol wow you have lots of opinions on movie you’ve never seen before!
Maybe my main issue is, I don’t like slapstick comedy in general.
Has anyone ever said that about Will Ferrell?
She can do whatever the hell she wants, which so happen to be crass comedies. All the more power to her for it. I sure as shit will see this, and see her in a hipothetical dramatic role, should she choose to do one.
something about women (especially unconventional women) doing physical, slapstick comedy makes people so uncomfortable and its SO ANNOYING
Except that she (her character) is quite obviously a hideous person who will learn some good life lessons from the morally superior single mom? And the single mom will learn to stand up for herself and they will admit they respect each other and become very best friends.
What about Spy? She was so good in Spy. Heat was good, too. This is going to be a funny movie. What’s wrong with doing hilarious, out-there comedies? She probably had a fucking BLAST filming it. But hey, what do I know. I guess you think movies are only made for your enjoyment. :)
It is what she wants though. She wrote it.
Did you see Spy?? It was so good. This is going to be great. We need more women in ridiculous comedies!!!!
I completely agree. The risks of not being in a hospital are just too high. Most hospitals these days will let you have a midwife with you in the hospital and that seems like the best of both worlds to me.
I saw a screening of this back and July. Looks like I can finally talk about it! I don’t know if they changed much (the audience I was a part of all seemed to love it), but it was really silly and funny.
I don’t use uber-ever
