I am scared to lookup “Rule 34 Clippy” but I am sure there is less of there than what Samsung’s Sam got in less than 2 days.

I use a lot of software with weird names too...but I never thought to name any program, feature, hell even a variable after the name of the software. This is a bad look and they just happen to get an out that one of their tools has the same name.

Yeah the questionable part is definitely how the name got associated with the asset in the first place, not how it got through QA.

“You’re the ones comparing nooses to lynching, sounds like you’re the racists to me!”

Is it hard to be this ridiculous? I mean it must take a degree of effort to be so wrapped up in your twisted world that you think you’re being clever instead of what you’re actually being, which is an asshole.

We have screenshots of that tool with that name on the title bar of the application.. so you are objectively wrong. It is also ENTIRELY possible that whoever used the bonobo placeholder only knows that term as a piece of software they use leftover from the Bungie years and not as a type of ape. I didn’t know that

The issue is that totally ordinary people that make mistakes (you know, humans) tend to lose sympathy for people when none is extended to them. We each deserve grace... until we don’t (of course).

Does it though? I’m usually one to give people the benefit of the doubt, but I don’t know about this one. A codename for an old software tool that isn’t even being used anymore somehow gets set as the name? That seems far fetched. Or, someone tried to make a racist joke and it somehow snuck through? Unfortunately

The issue that really shitty little wankers who think racism is funny love the kind of plausible deniability you’re offering so generously.

And an example a bit closer, still keeping it somewhat constrained since I’m doing this by hand and want to expand it.

No, you’re wrong. The odds over a SINGLE pull don’t change. The odds over MANY change.

Yeah, your math is off, and what you’re saying doesn’t really make too much sense. Why do you care if you get exactly one legendary?

That looked so bad lol... Also what’s up with the characters left arm? Lol.. there is something a little off about that arm. It looks huge and weird, like the ratio is definitely off there.. It looks like a huge buff Hulk arm compared to his torso size.

Me one year ago: “Hey. Elon Musk is a pretty cool dude. He’s a quiet guy who’s passionate about building electric cars and rocket ships. What’s not to like?”

Without bringing in the idea of money transactions, you have to think about NFT and blockchain as technology and not what they’re actually being used for(the frakking picture generated NFT sales are god damn crazy), and then what a video game company might use them for.

Blockchains, at least proof of stake and other energy efficient architectures of DLTs use the same energy as the companies with servers maintaining credit cards or your bank accounts.

Some apology, they were yelling the entire time

WHY ARE THEY SHOUTING AT ME?  :P

Agree with all you say, especially about unionization; I’ve worked in the industry too, for E.A./Mythic/Broadsword, and whilst I didn’t see any sexism, there was plenty of bullying and generalised nastines... but the US is also a country where you can be fired for anything, and unemployed support is limited. Lawyers

Ok, here’s an essay on what getting the media to deal with these kinds of issues is like from the other side; Long story short, it’s a depressing nightmare.
