Right. The collective aneurism from the general public and press coming to terms with the obvious is astounding. Take the same product, remove the Bethesda name and absurd hype, and it would’ve been forgotten and dismissed within a month.

I’m so sick of bullet based games, when see an article like that it’s just one more reason not to play a game.

I’m pretty sure plenty of people are talking about Starfield already without a magic puddle needed to be included.

When people ask me how I got so rich, told them it was a dirty road. I was surrounded by guns and it was like the wild west where I was. I told them I got it out the mud....

That’s great lol. I still remember discovering the little scamp and mud crab in Morrowind that you could exploit. At this point, I’d be disappointed if a Bethesda flagship game DIDN’T have bugs and exploits lol.

Like, genuinely, it’s annoying that Nvidia just has significantly better tech, as it locks people to their hardware as games increasingly rely on these hardware tricks on top of rasterization, but it’s a pretty clear win.

I think you are overselling the difference a bit and what difference there is mostly disappears at higher resolutions.

Nintendo, I love you, truly, but that response is not acceptable. I did exactly that. And then I called your support number. And I was told my Joy-Con was out of warranty and I paid you $40 to repair it. You were nice enough to waive the $10 shipping charge, at least. And then I was without a Joy-Con for a week. And

“Switches are good for kids and adults.”

I meant it in the sense that not knowing the name of a videogame series isn’t some serious social faux-pas deserving of scorn, like some commenters here seem to think.

You cannot possibly really believe The Elder Scrolls or Destiny 2 are part of the general pop culture zeitgeist. Hell, even Disney wasn’t all that interested in Disney Infinity. The only thing even vaguely in the realm of general cultural awareness here is the Joust question, and even for that arcade era of classic

I don’t think cultural awareness requires that you know what The Elder Scrolls is. So many people don’t play games and wouldn’t have any idea.

Huh... I thought “Let’s Randomly Insult Musk For Our Weekly Boners” was on Wednesdays.

If there were anymore salt in this post, I’d need some pepper.
