it’s a cool project, but goddamn am I sick of hearing how 1.6 was literally gaming perfected and nothing should have ever changed.
If you have a problem with the source material, then direct your ire there, not at the people who are trying to faithfully adhere to the source material.
Tf2 more than battlefield. Tf2 did the random automatic sayings talking about what was going on in the battlefield, automatically chatting to other characters in context, mentioning things like sentries, etc. It promoted teamwork and objective based play. All that almost 10 years ago and still going strong and even…
Pretty neat isometric 3D redesign of Link and the original The Legend of Zelda by French artist Sir Carma. It looks similar to 3D Dot Game Heroes, but that’s absolutely not a bad thing.
I know this article will get a lot of “I’m tired of the cartoony look, it’s soooo bad” crap but I still love it. There are plenty of games using realistic graphics. It’s good to see video games that still look like they are video games. Especially when the art and aesthetics are so damn nice. I will never understand…
If you’re pissing people off with your journalism, then you’re doing your job. Ruffling feathers, even if you’re entertainment reporters, is par for the course. Don’t stop doing it just because a couple publishers are a wee bit on the childish side of things.
Valve just released a meaty web comic telling part of the story behind the Dota 2 hero Axe, a melee warrior who...wields an axe. It’s a very good comic, even if you don’t know anything about Dota’s lore! Read it here.
This is not a MOBA-like game.

Could Bashcraft give some insight into that?
These commenters wouldn’t know good character design if poked them in their eye holes.
The artist did a great job staying true to the core physical characteristics of the characters and just applying his own cartoon aesthetic.
Not going to lie I hate these designs with a fiery passion. Besides these characters already got kinda “Disneyfied” in Kingdom Hearts where they actually look you know like themselves...
I HATE the design. It’s different and cutesy for the sake of being different and cutesy. Same as when they recreate non-human objects as human. They just draw a freakin’ anime character with a few remnants of the original object. That said, I LOVE the talent needed to create the images. Definitely talent that needs to…
I hate these so much...
