@hazelnut: Macro-management RTS's usually play horribly on consoles. I could see something like Warcraft 3 playing respectably on a console, though.

Dear GT: implement a tuning system that rivals Forza's and we will be on speaking terms again. Until then, I don't care about all the promises you've made, or how you will be a more attentive lover this time around. It's going to take a lot to let you back into my heart after you took our relationship for granted and

@thesircuddles: The modeling is top notch in both games, with GT5 interiors being slightly more detailed. The biggest difference is the lighting systems. Color and reflection is depicted more accurately in GT5 (although I wouldn't say "miles" better), whereas the default color saturation in Forza 3 seems a little

I was there. I was the one Nintendo fan in the back booing the Sony people.

@Erix_Cale: Third. You usually aren't doing realistic things in a lot of games, so the graphics don't always have to b hyper-realistic. I admit I chuckled when I first saw FF13 footage... such beautiful character models.... standing there... around numbers and menus.... taking turns attacking giant enemies....

@orionpk: It's called "art direction". Look into it. It's one of the things the series actually does well.

@Chocobo_Shepherd: God forbid anyone say anything nice about a company that doubled the gaming market (and is more than likely keeping it afloat in a global economic recession) and completely changed the way we play games. All these kiddies growing up on the Wii right now will be future owners of PS5's and Xbox 1080's.

Wow, it really chaps peoples asses when an underpowered, constantly malfunctioning console like the 360 tops the sales charts.

@jimmyphotocall: What can I say? We Xbox 360 owners love our shooters, apparently *rolls eyes*

@Evdor: With shaved heads.

So it's NOT a Wiimote because it has a few less buttons, looks a little more streamlined, has a rechargeable battery, a wireless nunchuk, and has slightly more accurate motion tracking software?

I'm not familiar with the Prius, but couldn't you just turn the car off if it starts wildly accelerating?

Ha, it's pretty clear Ubisoft doesn't know what to do with this franchise. I thought 2008 Prince was supposed to be the entry that took it back to a "Sands of Time" feel.

@legendnthemaking: I like the way you operate. Anyone who can boil it down to a Tupac reference just gets it.

@bakagaijin: "I think your pent-up frustration for Metacritic just burst at the first mention of the site—and I couldn't agree more.

@bakagaijin: Hate to tell you this, but Metacritic is a god-awful website.

It only takes 10 hours to beat? THANK YOU for telling me this. It means I can rent it and beat it, instead of buying. You just saved me 50 bucks, Kotaku.

Agreed. The fact that it "looked like a Wii gun" so so utterly irrelevant to the story. Just another instance of trying to blame a fuck-up on someone else.

Speaking of Datsun, there is a serious lack of Warlord-grade Vanettes on this site.
