Ha!!!

I was mistaken about being banned. All of the sudden, in the middle of the night, the huge reply button vanished. I was put back in the “greys” because I offended Ms. Brown. From what people have told me she is known to throw hissy fits and be amazingly rude.

I read the first part of Victoria Wilson’s bio on Stanwyck, “True-Steel”, it was 1,000+ pages, but absorbing and fascinating. It ended right when filming for “Stella Dallas” started. Provides lots of minutiae.

My siblings and I all wore Start-Rites and back in the day there were no rubber soles, only wood. My brother split my lip with one. God, I hated those shoes.

Hey! Please don’t degrade offal meats.

It’s things like this that make me go “whoa” and take a seat. How can one funnel their anger towards something positive, when the anger is so overwhelming it’s paralyzing?

When you are “greyed” it means your comments must be approved before they can be seen in the main thread. See where it says “pending approval”? I guess some of the bloggers who work for Gawker use the fact that they can determine who is approved and who isn’t as a way to wield power. Kind of pathetic.

The writer of the June article was Kara Brown, the one who took offense to my comments today. Interestingly, it wasn’t her article.....

Oh, I will stick around. I do enjoy the commentary and the articles for the most part. I am just a little bit confused over how it all escalated within 30 words, or two postings. Que sera, sera...

What I find absurd and melancholy is that fact that it would appear that I am now banned from Gawker websites. The reply button after the articles is gone for me. Sorry to intrude.

“”

AND NOW I NO LONGER HAVE A REPLY BUTTON AFTER THE ARTICLES. I AM GOING TO ASSUME THIS MEANS THAT I AM BANNED! REALLY. PICK YOUR BATTLES PEOPLE, I HAVE PICKED MINE. I AM GOING TO BED. FU.

I thought the same thing. Also, I am replying to this post because I no longer have a reply “button” after the articles. Does this mean that I am banned?

She is basically a 2015 version of a 2010 Zoe. Upgraded for bro approval.

I never dismissed her anger over being called a “side kick”. Are you even reading what you are replying to?

For expressing my view on a post about an Asian American musician. I posted from my view point, as an Asian American female, and then it just got weird from there. No racism or dismissing the subject of the articles feelings, but still enough to piss off Ms. Brown.

As long as Kara Brown signs off on it, I see nothing wrong. FYI: I was put back in the greys for, heaven forbid, not even having a dissenting opinion, but my own.

I just moved from SF, so I will give you a pass.

So your homegrown racism is acceptable? If thus venue was in South Carolina would your response be different?
