Potential buyer: I could do one of those things, but...

The space between the headlights and the hood shut line aren’t even equal.

I’d wager that the 3.0L Duratec in this car sounds better than a real Veyron’s W16 - or at the very least, it doesn’t sound like a ShopVac.

So, in this context, which Jalopnik contributor is too old for this shit? DeMuro?

It’s mostly me yelling at Ballaban that he’s “a loose cannon” and telling him not to “get personal.”

HAHA! see this site can do good if we call stick together and not make fun of each other :)

Proposed Jalopnik crime division: Jacopnik

Lovely, but I’d rather put that money towards an E9. The 2800CS and 3.0CS were just pure sex on wheels. Whenever I see one, I can’t help checking it out.

FIRST THOUGHT:

Kinda looks like a 2000ish Accord.

We are going to need better pictures then that. Given how clear the headlight is, it is most likely from 2010+ or a replacement headlight.

On a serious note, parts availability is an issue for these engines - you basically have to hope someone in Europe still has parts, and import them, as I understand.

I had an 87 Nissan Sunny (what they called the Sentra in Germany) diesel wagon - N/A, so very similar horsepower to this. Great car - sure, acceleration was 0-60 eventually, but in the land of pre-turbo Golf Diesels and Merc 200Ds, it was not inappropriately slow. On the autobahn, it would eventually get up to just

The master cylinder is the one that tells all the other cylinders when to work.

I’ve some reason always called cylinder #1 (yes for dead centering) the master cylinder, eventhough that is a brake thing.

I do hate when my SRAM brakes crap out though. :(

If it’s a Toyota and a diesel, it begs the question, just how long will this thing run?

It’ll be perfect for creeping on the 405 or the 101, though.

Top speed of 75 in all electric mode? Can't use that on Texas highways.
