Such a shame...a Mac was the first computer I've used (I think it was System 6) and I've only ever owned Macs. I've loved all of the OS X versions from the beta to 10.6 but it looks like 10.6 will be the last Mac OS I use.

Regarding the Civic, I remember reading that the Civic has very high incentives; something like $2,000 off a brand new, re-designed (sic) Civic when it was not that long ago that you had problems buying one for MSRP.

So, as the others have pointed out, she was driving a car that she wasn't driving, the car was scrapped, and the person was hit but not injured.....
