The roll cage is on rubber mounts - adds nothing. And what tires do you think VW used? Linglongs? They are using road legal tires, I’m sure VW did the same thing.

I saw a red CTR on the road a couple weeks ago. It wasn’t as visually jarring in the wild. It certainly grabs your attention, but it wasn’t as gaudy as it looks in print.

Well its ugly as hell... I have basically zero interest in it... but that is obnoxiously quick.... like, quick enough that I almost hate this car now as its forcing me to have some measure of respect for it that I somehow dont think it deserves. Fuck you bat-civic. Fuck you.

After seeing this car at the New York Auto Show, I completely changed my opinion of the looks of this car. It truly is a looker from every angle and what the RS and STI looks should have strived for.

It’s mostly people on Jalopnik who can’t even afford the car anyways that are complaining. Overall the reaction has been positive.
