I literally just wrote this article to say “Hey, you can take a break from that game that is frustrating you or making you feel bad.”

Buying a game on launch day isn’t a “right”. He can simply wait.

But that’s his point—-he shouldnt have to do that. He has the right to experience the game day 1, but that right should extend to getting the full game, not wait for the product after he has already bought it.

I think PS:T has some great stuff in it, but I think it pales in comparison to Baldur’s Gate in a few ways. That’s not to say that I don’t like it, but I definitely like BG more. For a series as tried and true as Megaman, the quality of the experience really boils down to smart level design. I think Megaman 9, even without considering nostalgia goggles, did very unique things with the some of the stage level design that felt fresh.

I played this last year at MIGS in Montreal and it is really great. The dev team was fantastic and we just sat talking about Ninja Gaiden while playing the version they had on the show floor. Definitely going to pick this up.
