@toirneach: Check out Slacker. Pretty much the same as Pandora, but needs fewer permissions (modify sd card, full internet access, read phone state, change network connectivity). I've actually come to prefer it over Pandora (no listen limits for free users)

@Dimensiation: You could create a shortcut to the contact, but I guess that wouldn't help you much since you would need individual shortcuts for each action. I think I have my first app to write for andriod... This would be pretty useful I imagine.

@Homer Berkowitz: But, also, how big of an issue is it? I know I would never have a need for such functionality or, if I did, I could easily look up the info once the call is over and then send a text or call the person back, if it's that important. I'm pretty sure at least 95% of people won't use that functionality

@helixjo1: He does on Lifehacker, which is where the post originated

@bombastinator: @Sithishade: They Strip Brackets!: Another point is that by creating those photos, even in photoshop, he created child porn and should have been arrested himself, even if they are "virtual" images and not "real" photos. @TheKel: There are other ad blockers for chrome that work very well. I use AdBlock (the first one in the pic above) and it works great!

@snitch: Giz ran an article earlier about it, but Facebook's lone android dev wound up leaving a while back

Why would you want to control your desktop from your phone? To me, it would be annoying, since your desktop is designed for larger resolutions and screens.

@nvleafs was rudely interrup - ALPACA ALPACA ALPACA: As far as I know, it backs up the separate partitions of your device; so, it's multiple images of /system, /data, /data/data, and /cache. It doesn't backup the kernel (or radio, I believe) and it's not a 1:1 backup of the whole device. This is my understanding and

Why do people keep comparing easy things to cavemen doing them? It pisses me off. Just cuz I like clubbing people and know how to take down a mammoth doesn't mean I'm a simpleton. I know how to be a 1337 h4XX0r
