I haven't driven a Ford lately, but, lately, the urge is getting a little more personal. I hope this one flies. The reasoning is a simple one: Too many malaise 2.0 mobiles like Camry and Caliber and 200's clogging the arteries of the heart of American motoring.

Owned an 89, trooper-ii/jackaroo. Loved it to bits, but there were many reasons, ^ included, that I never did more than a hundred kph in it. That said, the driver of that poor troopie must have gone poopie, knowing full well as we do that those things are like high centered toasters at the best of times.

No flames. Whatsoever. Not on this one. As a 27 year old who completely found himself raised in a parental environment completely unrelated to this hippy dippy bullshit, I can say Adam is very correct in his way of thinking. Maybe bordering on Hyperbole (my fave word of the day today) but ultimately skewing toward

How?

This gentleman is the one I aspire to be. He's just a guy. Has a passion. Could do without his women or his wine, but his friends and his cars are cherished. The old ones, they really are the best. Cars, and souls. Maybe this guy found one, by making peace with the other.

Absopositivelutely a good buy. A mad one. One liable to end any relationship with any significant other except the right one. The one that would be the envy of few, except those in the know.

Yeah, last I checked it's a controlled substance, almost everywhere too.

That is John Maynard Keynes. The founder of Keynsian Economic theory. In a nutshell, the dude suggested that aggregate demand drives the economy. Hence, a lot of things get burnt, thereafter demand rises for such replacements, and thus people and jobs are needed to rebuild them. It makes kinda sense. I'm more of a

Sorta like this?

You enjoy yours as well!

Well, yes and no. Mostly not. I'm sure he's quite nice, but ultimately disconnected from reality in some very profound ways. There's bound to be a disorder at the heart of this. Not a rational individual at all. That said, asshole and irrational are not mutually exclusive. I'm generally both. But this guy is

There is no political motive here. At least, not a rational one. Whoever is doing this is likely in a stream of consciousness kind of state, running completely unmodulated in terms of his emotional wants and needs. It wants, It gets. Sort of an impulsivity that is hindered only by a specific mode of action

I could sell you the R32, but the r33 has a special place in my heart. It's cursed, and ultimately it will take someone's life. I would hope that it would be mine and not someone else's.

I resolve to keep and drive the same car for a year. In this case, a wee ole Honda CRX, of the first generation.

@DBYF, mostly just an in-joke, the SMG aspect is one that was lampooned earlier in the comments. Apparently not the best gearbox for the money...

Mostly because of people like you.

What do you drive?

Thinking about it some more, I wonder if the guy was actively involved in something and they took this stance and course of action to put him out of commission for a little while or send a strong message that he should stop. Dirty pool, but effective.
