@DittoBox: It would be a Mad Max moment. Open headers and all.

The resemblance was immediate and irrevocable. I make no apologies.

Oh that is fantastic. Utterly so. I'd love to show up to one of the volvo meets we have around here with that. Prancing moose my arse.

Also, it's rather sad that they consider this to be a large car.

@pres: @irishman-AARGH!:

For what it is, cp. Can't justify it, except to say that it reminds me of a kid in highschool who had enough money to buy the previous generation's faux luxury car and though himself hot shit for doing so. Platform whoring.

Well, Obama *IS* fairly left leaning, so Nascar might work, actually.

@Isetta: Damn that's eerie. Guy had just enough time to stir after a nap. Imagine that...

@TheAntiCat: Not being directly involved with anything of the sort, I'd rough guess that it's less than a full scale production with SAG talent, because I'm fairly sure the reality tv stars aren't union, but someone could correct me. Probably doesn't cost much at all. Film crew, location, travel, all balanced out

@TheAntiCat: I think primarily the issue with hollywood, and this isn't wholly off topic, as it relates to TG:USA, is the people who fund with impunity this drivelly excuse for product. The reason they fund horrible shows and projects is because ego and money have overshadowed common sense. Really, nobody under

@TheAntiCat: I have to agree. At least nowadays. I thought the Mortal Kombat one was stellar, proper dose of camp. The new resident evil on the other hand.... EEch

Hmmmmm. Not quite the same premise, but close enough for comment.

Oh, she's a splendid girl.Wonderfully pneumatiK

What I find fascinating is that if you watch his eyes, from launch to, well, launch, they never change. That's a thoroughbred driver. Cold as ice. Respectable. As to the crash, glad he walked!

@Slave2anMG: Shelby Lancer, GLHS, CSX, on and on and on. The guy made underdogs that performed well. That was the idea. Cheap and good. He had a good fwd lineup. Right for the times.

Now, I'd have to do some digging, but not a couple months back, perhaps longer, Jalop was all afire with the prospect of how wonderful a stick turbo buick would be, what changed? Not to be mean, but Gm is a big ship, and it takes a while for a rudder to do it's job. Let's see what else this brings. I expect some

Spent the best (too few of them) driving days of my life in an r32 gts-t. This is CP though, way too much, even if the market chooses to bear it. I can throw a rock and pick up an r32 GTR for half the cash. An r33 gtr if I were to settle for a real flog-hog.
