I play hockey. Carbon fibre composite sticks are awesome - until they catastrophically fail and the structure explodes at a specific point of weakness. This never happened with aluminium shafts, and happened with far less frequency with wood sticks.

If it were up to me, I'd have titled this article "Nixon's Audio Gear Sounds Like it Looks".
