Come on people, get out and vote for Wendy Davis in November!

I am one of those psychos...although not exactly as you suggest. I think kids should be taught how dangerous guns are from a young age, at the same time we teach them Stranger Danger. Through elementary, middle school and high school have more lessons about safety around guns as well as how to notice and report

Haha that happened to me, too!

My grandmother was from Illinois but she grew okra in her garden. I plant okra in my garden now and think of her when it's time to pick.

I'm super pale and in addition to copious amounts of sunscreen and wearing hats, I've started wearing long sleeved shirts this summer. Living in Texas where it hits triple digits, it goes against the tendency to wear as little as decently possible. But it hasn't been as bad as I expected!

Or else she's the new spokesperson for Depends.

It's also pretty repulsive that the NFL is a non-profit and pays no income taxes. And on top of that, the teams usually blackmail cities into publicly funding stadiums. All these small-government yahoos vote to build stadiums while railing against school, park and library funding.

I feel so dumb because I never understand why women of child-bearing years are so discriminated against. Men get sent to prison way more than women. Men are more likely to die young, too. Why aren't women seen as wonderful multi-taskers that any company would be lucky to get? If women have traditionally been

I blame tv shows for the results. TV almost always shows police as being friendly, funny, just-like-us! Or else they're hard-nosed detectives solving unsolvable cases, putting the "bad" guys away. Movies have dealt with more complicated "bad" cops like Training Day or Cop Land, but still have plenty of wise-cracking

Yeah, there's nothing illegal about a magazine not printing stories about black women and men. Unless she's using those comments as proof of discrimination against her, then it seems pointless to bring up in her court case.

Greg Abbott doesn't wear shoes!

Haha, these are all awesome. I'd like to be friends with sprinkle lady.

Hope I don't sound like a jerk but I've heard of companies denying time off requests when business is bad or other business-related issues. So it might not necessarily be that they are targeting just you. I've worked at two places that cut down on time off when business was bad.

This kind of happened to me. I started at my company with a 9 to 6 workday. But I moved to a new group where they preferred doing 8 to 5. But I still worked with other people in the company who mostly did 9 to 6, like a good 85%. But over time I felt my boss making little jerky comments because I didn't show up at

Grr, I have a newish mole on my chin. I was at a plastic surgeon's for a hand thing a while back. I should've asked him about the mole! I hate it!

Yeah, I hope the whole stealing-companies-from-other-states backfires and introduces more intelligent voters.

I grew up loving Vogue. Once they swerved to putting celebrities on all the covers I lost interest because they never included actresses and directors that I respected. But after not having consumed fashion mags for a few years, I can't appreciate the photos anymore. The lack of body types and adherence to such a

I used to wish that music had Friday debuts so I could have the weekend to absorb a new album. Actually kind of surprised a global release date is the best idea the music corps could think of to combat pirating. I'd think lowering prices would finally be an option. Seems ridiculous to ask so much for a CD these
