I see several recommendations for The Punisher, but I’ll throw in a dissenting opinion.

It’s not even the GB residuals that made it so he doesn’t have to worry about money anymore. It was those “Honey, I <verb>ed the <noun>!” movies he did for Disney. Those made a ridiculous amount of money.
“And yet humans have no sympathy for machines”
I’m a vegetarian. Not a sexist. Not a fan of PETA. I don’t try to tell people what they should or shouldn’t eat because that’s their business. So, that’s context.
Those screaming about big gubmint are strong with the cognitive dissonance. Also, dumb as rocks.
Does Canada not have as equivalent of the FDA? This seems pretty unhygenic.
Oh, my uncle Dave was the best at that game! Good old uncle Dave.
I’m Gen X and I can’t do most of the things you listed. I’m a life-long vegetarian and I have no idea how to cook a steak or chicken, and no desire to learn.
What, with Henry suddenly alive again and Hawkeye a callous Trumphumper?
Because the whiny millionaire babies needed some excuse for bilking the public into building them a new stadium to lose in. In 10 years well be forced to fund ANOTHER new stadium because they’ll complain that its too cold without a roof!
Not really. The joke here is that CPCs would have to completely change to meet these criteria (basic human decency), so the only way they should be allowed to continue existing is if they stopped existing.
Very similar voices, but Miller’s is far more grating, IMO.
Sure, these places can exist of they stop lying to women, pressuring them, holding them against their will. They should be above-board and just call themselves Christian Pressure Centers.
Oh, AlienCubed does exist. It’s a tense, underrated action game for SNES/Genesis based on absolutely no movie property at all.
I was just glad to see Nate remember that he can turn into steel during that fight.
They really overhauled the tone between season 1 and 2. They actually fixed most of the problems the show had and embraced a fun, campy vibe.
They don’t necessarily need to reduce the episode count, just don’t try to stretch one story across all the episodes. They should be doing a lot more 2-3 episode stories, with a big 6-episode arc culminating around sweeps.
There’s plenty of hard sci-fi out there to enjoy, so let the Legends be goofy fun. They tried serious plots (never smart though, admittedly) in the beginning and it was awful. Once they decided to just have fun with it, it was actually fun to watch.
Don’t blame the Dr. Who character or concept for that. Since it was revived its had 1 bad showrunner who allowed bad writing and 1 abysmal showrunner who seemingly sought out the worst writing imaginable.
They die and come back so often... its hard to keep up!
