Was Vashj’ir well-received? I remember hating that zone because WoW is so poorly-equipped to handle normal combat in 3 dimensions. Maybe that’s why Blizzard didn’t bother trying to add any novel zone mechanics/terrain interactions since.

W-what? I know this happens, but the thought of flipping your hair over the back of the seat where it’s vulnerable to getting caught and pulled by people moving around behind you sounds awful. I’d rather pull it over the front of my shoulders because why risk getting scalped by someone coming back to their seat after

Vanicream! It’s bland, so it doesn’t have any fancy skincare ingredients outside of good ol’ humectants and occlusive agents. $15 for a pound for a pump.

Low unemployment is not necessarily indicative of overall prosperity. Wage stagnation, the shrinking middle class, and widening wealth gap all suggest that most people are not benefiting from increased productivity.

The sticking point being that what you’re paying may not be a fair or sustainable price for the service provided. Same with buying items at rock-bottom prices or anything to do with the gig economy— these companies need to squeeze those profits from somewhere, and more often than not, it’s labor.

To be fair, a lot of dealerships don’t really have much PHEV/EV experience either. OEMs have enough foresight to ensure that average people won’t wreck the car or accidentally kill themselves doing regular maintenance like oil changes.

I suspect the people who advocate open concept office designs are not the same people who have to work in them. Things get even worse when upper management hops onto the hot-desking train and suddenly you don’t even have a workspace to call your own.

Reducing that is important, but this strikes me as another example of promoting consumer-level incentives over regulating large-scale polluters.

Which is what I do, I’ve just never had it so close for so long that it actually dragged up my shins.

Right, that’s what I figured. Sort of like how falling off a bike is not a prerequisite to properly riding one, but people should wear helmets anyways.

Whoa now. I do start with my shins touching the bar (or nearly so), but they’ve always moved out of the way in time to avoid the scraping. It sounds like regular shin-scraping should not be happening in proper deadlifts.

This article has me paranoid that I’ve been doing deadlifts all wrong because I don’t think I’ve ever found myself to be at risk of shin scrapes.

My problem is the cost. I often read how people say that by not buying fuel it’s much cheaper to operate an electric car. But you still need to buy electricity. That makes it a payback equation.

This is a good take. I think they’re playing catch-up with Toyota. Honda was offering some pretty deep discounts on the Clarity PHEV— we got $5000 off the top (bringing the price down to $28,400) before any negotiations even started— so I wonder how sustainable their business model was.It felt like they were trying

Marketing and brand loyalty (or skepticism) probably played a large part in the Bolt and Fiat flopping. 1) Typical Chevy and Fiat buyers probably aren’t interested in electrified cars and 2) people who knew about their EVs probably didn’t trust the brand enough to buy it. I was definitely in the second camp.

I’m in the same boat: wanted a BEV, but went with a PHEV for the flexibility. My round-trip commute is 80 miles, though, so I definitely still end up burning gas every day (though I went from filling up 16 gallons a week to 9 gallons every 2 weeks). As for ICE-specific maintenance— you’re probably looking at an oil

That’s it, I’m totally going to buy one of those tuxedo bar cakes the next time I’m at Costco!

I guess thin mints taste amazing after they’re frozen, so maybe the same will be true for these! As for the cake...now we’re going down a very dangerous road. I’ve always wanted to buy their tuxedo cake or cheesecakes, but stopped myself saying they were too big.

I’m only about an hour in, but it’s definitely a good cardio workout with some resistance training. You’re not gonna get swole, but so far it’s been a fun way to get 30 minutes of moderate exercise in.

I’ll have to try that sometime! They’re a mix of chocolate coated and caramel-filled cookies, though. Think they’ll be okay?
