I don't need one. I am not getting rid of my desktop, because I am a gamer and electronic musician. I already have a netbook for travel and couch surfing, which honestly doesn't get used very much, and an Android phone which does. And the price of ebooks and inability to borrow (most of) them from the public

@jaden: I just did, and it has some weird issues too. Like if you alt-tab away from it with it active, it becomes impossible to return to it without Task Manager, and it hides the taskbar even after you've killed it.

It really doesn't seem to handle dual monitors.

Thunderbird 3 is pretty good. I voted GMail because that's all I use personally now, with the lovely Android integration.

My experience with archery in Wii Sports Resort was almost good. All too often it would freak out and you'd have to aim at a corner of the ceiling in order to shoot "straight".

@tatsuyame: I use them as a substitute for paper plates, and to clean up cat vomit.

@enigma776: and that's why they want to keep doing updates, so they never have to call it "finished" and release a 360 update. :D

@MiltoxBeyond: And of course CyanogenMod has other benefits as well. Tethering is included, for one :)

Apparently I am a football coach, Christian comedian, video editor, artist, and historian. Wonderful.

Desktop, for gaming and music production. Laptops are just not there, in terms of price/performance, hard drive speed and size, expandability etc.

@Crashproof: and I hear Blizzard actually *pays* for overtime.

@Placentasaurus: heck no. It's not the norm at most places. I work 40-hour weeks, with only the occasional emergency extra time. (Although I did take a pay cut early 2009 that hasn't been restored yet.)

@arungupta: based on Android in general:

@jcrane2: not that there's anything wrong with that.

@Cornflower: I disagree. Knowledge that deleting desktop shortcuts does nothing for performance is pretty important. And you can measure the results afterwards and try something else.

@TheMightyBuzzard: When it's 6 degrees outside, that suggestion is not very appealing.

My sister-in-law works at a Best Buy. The impression I get is that Geek Squad quality of service varies hugely from one store to the next. Some stores are awesome, and some haven't even heard of the services they're supposed to provide.

@RyderJ: I'M OVER HERE! I'M OVER HERE! I'M OVER HERE! I'M OVER HERE! HEY EVERYBODY CHECK ME OUT I'M DANCING I'M DANCING! OONS OONS OONS OONS
