For whatever reason, there has not yet been a good Android app for Google Notebook, and the mobile version of the site doesn't work very well.

Awesome.

Funny, I was thinking Bill looked a little like Santa Claus in a skin care commercial.

And now of course you can find Purple Bearded Break Dancing Dragons because it's in your browser cache. (Unless you go cacheless or run off a USB stick.)

Worst part of winter, besides the cold and ice/snow considerations when driving:

@Setzer IIDX: Yet Bioshock manages to be tense and dramatic and exciting.

I used to buy books all the time. Then in my mid-late 20's I was too poor, and reread a bunch of my old stuff several times. Then started buying again, right before my wife (a library assistant) converted me to the ways of the library.

@VayaConQueso: The next ten years will see the end of books, newspapers and motion pictures.

Why is the hair on my face, which I've been shaving for years longer, coarser and more unpleasant-feeling when it gets stubbly, than the hair on my head?

Eh, I dunno. At my workplace I kind of have a reputation for getting things done, more so than my fellows... and yet I don't focus too much. (And can't; I have to wait for long compiles, and keep getting interrupted with questions.)

@edythemighty: Note that you can only jailbreak RC29 (with a modded RC30), not RC30 if your G1 came with that installed already.

I do kind of like the fact that everything in the Market is free now... hopefully there will be a search option to only show free items.

My sister did some dumpster diving for a while just to avoid literally becoming a starving artist. Not so much "freegan" as pizza and doughnuts though.

@TheOriginalEd: in the spirit of XKCD, I will have to read that as "dirty ass-fingernails."

@bachya: So what's Chrome? :)

I'll be sure not to download Pac-Man when my G1 arrives. :)

@IanC: Porting an entire engine is easier than making 5% of the market reboot to play? Wow.

I don't see the advantage of doing this vs. opening another tab...?

I'm a former Opera disliker who just tried Opera 10. I can at least say it's not horrible, and it's even good in some ways — the method of installing new skins beats Firefox all to hell, for instance, and it automatically set itself up to use Privoxy.
