Herbicide-resistant crops encourage more use of herbicide (which is arguably why they were developed by herbicide companies in the first place),

In some crops overall pesticide use is down or becoming more targeted, at least in part as a result of pro-organic marketing and customer preference, but we're also bioengineering other crops to increase tolerance to even higher levels of pesticide use than before.

It's actually because the immune system is done developing that we give vaccinations when we do. An immature immune system wouldn't benefit from vaccination, since it wouldn't have a mature ability to develop an immunity to the vaccination antigens.

Not for games to be banned or censored, which is a common train of thought for many of her critics, but for games to (well the clues in the title really) stop relying heavily on tropes.

I don't know what "moving like a man" means, but your complaint just seems like there's no way to satisfy you - present a female character with recognizably female attributes, and it's a titillating stereotype. Present a female character who isn't and they're just a "female reskin."

Then why make that argument only by saying "look at these sexy, objectified female characters; I don't like these and want them to stop"?

I'm arguing that "robot", "gorilla" and "dwarf" are not types of male bodies, therefore it makes zero sense to include them within the diversity of male bodies in Overwatch. At least one of the robot characters reads female, to me, but not female enough for Sarkeesian, so it doesn't count as "female diversity."

Her assessment is only true if you count "robot" as a male body type. Which I don't understand why she does. It seems like she's only prepared to consider a character "female" provided that it has a traditionally stereotypical female body, but then she's complaining that the female characters only have traditionally

threaten to murder people and think there are no consequences and you can take it back*

Listen, attempting to eat/fellate the Campanile di Pisa is at least 20% fresher than the usual mugged photo: the classic "attempting to push it back up from the leaning side". Can't hate.

You own it, at least, and that made me happy.

You couldn't be more wrong about the content of Charlie Hebdo. They lampooned xenophobia and intolerance, they weren't champions of it. But taking their work out of context, its easy to lose sight of the difference. Like what happened to Dave Chappele.

"Scallop" is also something you can make out of beef, and it's a recipe that would be very familiar to someone older than about 50 - who might also be unfamiliar with seafood.

Sure. Probably especially if they work at Joe's Crab Shack or the Bonefish Grill.

Serving isn't the kind of thing where you have the time to ask "clarifying questions", especially when you're mentally context-switching between tables, jargon, accents, etc. Often by the time you're expected to have some kind of reply, you've mentally just caught up to the fact that someone spoke to you in English.

yet it is used growing chemical-intensive GMO terminator crops

What about purposely deafening a child? If being deaf is just about being "in Deaf Culture", you should have no problem with that, right?

Yeah, this woman is organic bananas, but by and large people who want transparency behind GMOs 1. aren't spreading diseases and 2. Have actual science to back up their claims.

Well, no, it's not. One, you're thinking of Bt crops, not Roundup-Ready crops, and two, that connection has been repeatedly and roundly debunked. Independently, even. We see bee die-offs even in countries where they can't use GMO's (or neonicotinoids, the other assumed culprit), and Monarchs don't feed on Bt corn.

I was trying to avoid a rage stroke this weekend.
