The BMW that was holding up the lead Corvette was 55 laps down from the race leaders; at that point your not even in contention. In my opinion IMSA should have penalized the entire BMW team for this move. It’s simply unsportsmanlike.

The BMW wasn’t just “a few laps down”, he was 55 laps down from the race leaders. He repeatedly tried to hold up the Corvette, which is what got him the penalty; and this incident happened just before he went into the pits to serve that penalty. IMSA should have penalized the whole BMW team for this move.

2:47 left was when it happened. It was a few laps prior to the finger. I didn’t realize the number 48 BMW was not on the lead lap when this happened. It was a really dirty move.
