@KamWrex: In reference to paragraph 1: yet.

It always make me sad when lh publishes an interesting concept like this, and it gets shot down so much by readers who don't take the time to fully consider what the author is saying and without taking in that it is only speculation anyway.

@timgray: First of all, most people don't do a lot of the things you mentioned. He's not saying it's a better computer; he's saying it's a better PC.

@ortizlgnd4: Ha, now that I think of it, it's likely Apple's advertising that led to my view of multitasking as important, though I really don't consider their save-state app technique to even really be multitasking.

@ortizlgnd4: After some thought, I would like to revise my opinion.

@ortizlgnd4: The iPhone may not have had multitasking for years, but that was years ago.

@phoenix: The way I see it is I'll never use IE again because of principle. However, that is still conditional.

@Marand: As a younger reader, I can also agree that I don't think IE is dead or will die anytime soon.

@jupiterthunder: 1. Isn't that what a lot of us risk by using open source?

@TheOtherHalf: We don't trust them to continue to be a good browser.

I feel it's a 'just enough' move on Microsoft's part.

I've noticed a lot of people keeping pen and paper, but I've ditched them for the most part.

@crashedjava: I remember a certain multi-protocol IM application doing something similar once. Though, I still use Digsby too.

I'm afraid there may be an issue of fairness. Runkeeper sent out an email to it's users specifically asking them to vote for them on this and linking to it.

@pjp13: As a student at an engineering college, I'm lucky as we are all supplied with tablet PCs which (combined with OneNote) are great for taking notes and drawing graphs/equations. They are fantastic. However, if they weren't mandatory and supplied by the school I'm not sure how common they'd be.

Is there actually a way to change the feed address on google reader?

Actually, until now, I never took the time to figure out how to whitelist.
