Honestly, I have both and I use them fairly equally.

I've been running strata40, since strataBuddy came out (there was an older alternative I missed) and have been loving it.

This makes me glad that I use my firstname@lastname email address. And that I did (and was able to) buy the domain in general

Voice is only one part of my phone, I also pay another $20 for unlimited texting. Google has mentioned it believes texting should be free. Sending a kilobyte of data for $1,as is common, is ridiculous.
