Maybach should be making cars like this (see below), rather than a tarted up S class. True, they won’t sell many, but isn’t that kind of the point of “exclusivity”? Not saying it’s not a Mercedes underneath, but it doesn’t look like any Mercedes you can buy.

As someone who was a child prior to the introduction of these seats, here’s what preceded it: babies/infants were held by an adult, but once one had achieved toddler status, you were postioned as any grown person: “Sit still!”
