@JohhnyDamage: Take another knee, and UCLA takes another time out.

@JohhnyDamage: Why let the other team take a knee and run the clock out when you can be a dick and call timeouts in a vain effort to make your loss look better?

Of course not, but in an 4, 8 or 16 playoff, how many more teams are going to get left out.

@Greek McPapadopoulos: Can't advance an onside kick unless its muffed by the receiving team.

@DrDoof: Impossible. The clock was running as soon as the ball was signaled ready for play. Which is why their attempt to run a play failed.

They don't have any money left to throw.

@BruschisBrewsky: I think you meant Ray Lewis. Merriman does a lots of stupid shit but a pile jumper he's not.

@sir_pantsalot: Actually I think the point of this was that neither has class, yet somehow Jordan managed to convince a lot of people that he did for a long time. #bookexcerptsthatdontsuck

@ArkansasFred: The could probably forgive him for those things.

@BruschisBrewsky: The fact that they couldn't hit a shot is why they lost. They were up 15 with 10 minutes left, then went ice cold.

Is it like some girl power type thing where women rise up and gather attention for only the type of cancer that they can get?

@Steve U: @Steve U: Agreed. Richest country in the history of the world and we can't get Honduras to let us broadcast a match. Can't we invoke the Monroe Doctrine or something?

So the Chargers suck because they don't keep the Steelers out of the Super Bowl. And they also suck because one time they kept the Steelers out of the Super Bowl.

@Fuzzy Dunlop: Ironically I am almost never a Simmons apologist, especially on football matters since I think he's out of his depth on the subject. I also generally agree that those who listen to the fans usually end up sitting with them.

@Fuzzy Dunlop: You're shocked - shocked! that Simmons wrote something stupid and refuses to acknowledge it?

As I understand it, the fans in Houston didn't want Bush, they wanted Young. Despite his insanity/mediocrity, Young actually took a team to the playoffs.

Even though the public funding aspect of new stadiums is bullshit, I give Baltimore credit for building this thing for a mere $110 million. Even in 1992 dollars that's a fucking steal.

@NightElfMohawk: Are there any favorable comparisons to Fred Durst?
