Neeeeerrrdddssss!!!!
@Spaceman Bill Leah: true, but making the girls 16 won't eliminate this problem.
I wondered at first about Ewing's inclusion, then I remembered his appearance in "Space Jam".
Congrats Will. I hope your new job brings you as much happiness as Deadspin has brought to all of us. Thanks for everything.
@supermike4ever: Far as I know, Merriman has never felt slighted by those who copy his dance. The only thing he's ever said is "they're not doing it right".
@drewheyman: If they had girls like that at Bob Jones it might just convince me to start hating interracial couples.
@drewheyman: It was probably Hollywood Upstairs Modeling School.
Does the 8X10 come framed, or is that extra?
@The Seaward (nee Tocchets Bookie): And the winner of the BCS championship and the Sugar bowl get to meet in the Super Bowl.
Personally I believe that Boise and Fresno State are the two best schools for the Pac-10 to pick up. I think both programs would get enough boost from the promotion to be contenders within a few years.
Rose: USC vs. Ohio State. Let the teams too pussified to play a conference title game enjoy their precious little no-stakes bowl.
@thefuseproject: Celsius?
@Discombobulatingly Devastating: I hear you. I wasn't advocating for any one team, just pointing out the importance placed in this system on losing early instead of late.
Just checking the opening lines:
@Disgruntled Goat: I think the point is that they wouldn't have to have those other teams lose in front of them if they had lost earlier. Consider the counterfactual: OSU loses early (say to Washington, a mediocre team at best) and then finishes 11-1 anyway. They would have likely known at the finish of the Michigan…
@being sven: Thanks, wasn't sure.
OSU vs LSU. Has anyone else claimed the "prediction: meteor" for this one yet? If not, dibs.
@JB*: Don't forget 1994 Penn State, I don't think Kerry Collins is too busy at the moment.
@Matt_T: As great as Rose Bowl matchup would be, they'll find a way to screw it up and give us a lineup of lousy games.
As commander in Chief, does the President have authority to start calling plays in the Army/Navy game?
