I am so gratified to see that they actually gave time to speaking about disability rights at the DNC. Tom Harkin did a great job of pointing out that while the ADA was a legislative milestone, the States still have a way to go toward achieving equality of disabled people (as do so many other countries).

Hello everyone!!! It’s been ages since I’ve been on here - not for any specific reason, but after my prolonged narcoleptic hiatus from work last fall, I threw myself back into work with a vengeance when I returned, with the result that my social life (both online and off) has been minimal-to-nonexistent until recently.
