Trapped in a Novigrad brothel.

They go to an orphanage in Novigrad. The tree spirit keeps his word. But he's also as big a threat (if not a bigger one) than the crones, and he murders that village near the swamp if you free him.

You can! It doesn't use any of your equipped ammo, and on the second highest difficult, the auto aim will kill almost any enemy in one hit and every other one in two.

They're more pests than legitimate threats, especially and confusingly when they're in the water. On land, a pack of drowners can kill you if you're not careful. But when Geralt goes under the sea suddenly his crossbow becomes a gauss cannon and his enemies become a soggy sheet of paper.

I like the brother a lot (I think his quest is maybe my favorite single quest in an open world rpg ever in fact), but I don't see how you could pick him.

I've become addicted to making giant pitchers of mojitos, playing the Lord of the Rings LCG, and playing FFXIV.

I think you can buy most of them from the druid potion guy in skeillege.

You gotta find a checklist to get that achievement. There are a lot of cards that are very missible.

Ugh. I hope you have your crossbow ready as each question mark requires you to kill approximately 47 sirens or drowners.

As much as I love the Witcher, the game does get a little overwhelming in the whole skeillege/Novigrad sequence. There is just too much side crap you could get suckered into. Still, there are some amazing quests during this part of the game with the quests surrounding chosing the king of skeillege (especially the

Sounds like you should write a book.

And you Gen-Xers decry the millenial obsession with nostalgia.

Awesome! Fast food portions are so paltry these days.

Sounds like my job.

What does your last sentence even mean? And how does Felicia Day saying that she feels threatened by Gamergate and their ilk qualify as a inane?

Given how well geeks on the Internet respond to women criticizing geek culture (and her own fruitful efforts in this area), I'm shocked that she didn't focus more on Gamergate.

I think I will spend my time tonight raiding in the MMORPG FFXIV. My group is very close to clearing the second part of the big endgame raid. I will likely play some LOTR LCG, and there will be trivia on Saturday. If I play my cards right, there may be sometime for a new Baldur's Gate playthrough (going as a sorcerer

I think I'm going to wait until the expansions are released for a second play through. I think one underrated thing about the Witcher is that it's highs are among the finest moments in any RPG I've ever played.

Personally, I was only able to lose weight after I stopped going out with friends (went from 300 to 190). I'm not saying that's true for everyone, but for me if I start drinking, I am going to drink a lot of beer. Then inevitably, I'll go and get some greasy food with friends as a night cap.

Even the slammer?
