Personally, I find the "git gud" of today to be a gentler alternative to the incoherent mysogynistic, homophobic, racist rants of when I used to play Gears of War online.

That name/comment synergy is incredible here.

The breeding is where it gets weird. So many reloads after my good and great chocobo somehow produced something that looks like Immortan Joe's son.

The first time I best FFVII I actually beat it with a playtime of around 30 hours with all my characters around level 30-40.

If you loved the flashbacks, you're in luck as the end of disc one and disc two is lousy with them!

Yeah but as a failure (both in life and in commenting), I appreciate the thematic throughline running through that game of failure and redefining yourself.

I'm almost positive that my total apathy to Chrono Trigger and FFVI (both of which I've played to completion) is 100% due to everyone telling me how much better they were than VII. That said your opinion is certainly the mainline one, and probably for good reason.

I agree graphically.

The art direction for some of those backgrounds holds up pretty well. And some of the story telling beats are still some of the best in the entire series in my opinion.

The Playstation was basically my first console.

I was ten years old and living in Fairbanks, Alaska at the time. My parents wouldn't by me a SNES to my everlasting disappointment. But I remember a friend got his for Christmas 1994. We played the shit out of co-op Turtles in Time. I was the best at throwing those foot soldiers at shredder.

Upon further reflection, I've decided to retract my statement as it's at best only kind of true.

But there are a lot of amibos.

Senility is a hell of a drug.

Nature finds a way.

Console wars are an American phenomenon as far as I'm concerned.

I just really want them to become a 3rd party developer.

You made a good choice. No console has given me more buyer's remorse than my Wii-U or Wii. It's seem vaguely cruel to require people to buy a $200 for a handful of first party releases.

The DS won and is clearly both more utilitarian and less forward looking than the Vita (in the dedicated handhold space it's hard to say that anyone has ever really even competed with a Nintendo system). The Gameboy beat the Game Gear. The PS3 touted it's cell processor, and was creamed by the 360. The PS4 is

I agree with that. But that's not what I'm saying. If Major knew what being a zombie meant and he said let me die. Not respecting those wishes would be abhorrent.
