When I was younger I never liked the seven type cars as they were too "old looking". However, the older I get and the heavier cars get, the more I appreciate the design. I think this would be a fantastic car to drive. Read more

I'm going to use this post to discuss the ridiculous prices 912s have reached in the last 2 years. It was going to be my porsche project car! Now I'm priced out, *sad face*

Frankly, I love the look of an early bay sitting down low and I've always thought air suspension could make it easier to get things level when camping. I've got a '67 VW camper (stock height) and love taking the family out camping in it or bombing down some old backroads. Good on ya, man!

Sure… The guy didn't build it himself. And yes…. stance *is* a bit much. And no… not the *coolest* ride around. [Though I happen to like Westfalias] But all in all, he's out there doing it; not letting the wife and kids hold him back. They're making some great memories and at least he's doing it with *some* style.

You know your car is awesome when "reducing power for usability" means going from 1500HP to 1000HP. I have no doubt they could pull numbers like that given the specs of the engine that I can see.

I guess the "imminent disaster" part made made me assume you lacked experienced. I DD'd a Miata for 6 years with lots of near-the-limit driving and was much more scared of other people not seeing me than losing control. But then again, I wasn't drifting all over the place either which is maybe what you're doing LOL
