nice!

I was thinking that before this episode aired. I figured it'd be like "The Monster" which was an LSP episode that really didn't make LSP very interesting.

I was like "Holy shit, Somvilay's there!"

right after it was over, I was like, "okay, just another ordinary RS. whatever, this season's still been pretty god damn strong"

PB pouring herself a drink because something she invented caused somebody to (as far as she knows) get killed was actually affecting.

Those gloves are made from the same material as PB's wizard under-outfit from "Wizards Only Fools"

they could have just kept repeating "math" and "rhombus" over and over and I'd have been happy. I think they only said "rhombus" once outside the Nickelodeon pilot, and I don't think they've said "math" in a long time. instead the Ooo slang is constantly shifting and getting weirder

I love that Ooo isn't just a place where monsters need to be defeated. Those monsters need to be defeated so that average people can sing karaoke and go to business meetings and sublet apartments.

Considering how determined she was to save Simon in the Ooo time, she obviously would have tried to help Simon back in normal human time.

Rushmore is JG's favorite movie. He has a poster in his office.

not enough people read it. that's all

I was expecting everybody to be raving about this one. I was laughing the entire time, then it got to the end, and I was like "holy shit! no monster battle or supernatural bullshit!"

Magic monster biz doesn't count. That's why the monster battles are so tedious. They have no relation to the characters' real lives. They're just crammed into the second half of RS episodes so there will be a climax to the episode.

Johhny Skydiver dropping the duct tape, then stopping it from rolling with his foot blew me away. That's not the type of thing I'd expect RS to do.

This was the opposite of "Reign of Gunthers" where nothing of consequence happens, but it's full of funny character moments (Ice King hitting on Huntress Wizard and Future Farming for example) and is immensely rewatchable.

They didn't really do anything new with Ron James this time. Seems like they could have found the time for Huntress Wizard by cutting his scene.

After Clarence killed him, Bob Morton showed the same ambition he had in life and worked his way up to Death.

wow, this episode has an awesome title card too
