When it’s convenient for him and he thinks he’s going to get a big payday, it ruined his life and caused unspeakable trauma. When that isn’t so likely he tries to make a few bucks off it by promoting it. Y’know, the American way.

The sentence is absurd given what happened. Seems way more punitive than rehabilitative. However, what really got me was this.

Insurance is incredibly short-sighted. When I first moved to the US the insurance I was on wouldn’t pay for my wife’s birth control prescription. But if she had gotten pregnant they would have happily paid all the bills for that. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

How quickly the rhetoric turned from “He’s the president, why won’t you support him?” and “Give him a chance!” to “Fuck Joe Biden.” Can you say hypocrisy?

I feel bad for the poor animal having to carry that around for two (or more) years. Also, now he’s without antlers during rutting season. Seems that could be dangerous as well if he tries to go up against another bull.

I believe that should be “Greystone Manor”, as in “a large country house with lands”, not “Greystone Manner”, as in “a way in which a thing is done or happens.”

I honestly wonder if guys like him actually believe the shit he spews or if he just sees there’s an audience for it, and thus money in it, so he’s just providing a product that he saw people wanted.

For years we’ve been told we should treat health care like any other consumer purchase and if we do that we don’t need a national health care system because price-shopping will take care of it. Perhaps he decided to take that advice and was waiting for his Chinese-made anti-rabies kit to arrive from Amazon.

I was rather intrigued that she had a LinkedIn profile so I decided to check it out. Assuming everything on there is true, she’s not a complete idiot. She has a bachelors degree in chemistry and biology and was a Ph.D. student at one time. Methinks perhaps she has a mental disorder of some sort and she’s off her meds.

The number of intelligent and insightful comments on this story is pretty impressive.
