Almost the definitive HARVEY BIRDMAN gag: https://www.youtube.com/wat…
It made total sense when I found out that one of the guys behind it ended up writing for AMERICAN DAD!
HBAAL is to SGCOC what AD! is to FAMILY GUY: the sorely underrated, satirically sharp younger sibling.
Well, HARVEY BIRDMAN's premise only SEEMED limited when it started; once the show went from "hey, let's take old Hanna-Barbara characters to court!" to "hey, let's use old Hanna-Barbara characters to talk about issues of the day!", it worked MUCH better.
Also, they stopped outsourcing the animation and just did it…
I'm not surprised he really liked making the SHANGHAI films; it shows on screen. He and Jackie have great comic chemistry. (and those films are real crowd pleasers when watched with an audience).
I know Jackie's said they were the only ones of his American films he was happy with.
I'd like to see a third one… but…
It'll probably happen FASTER.
Hollywood's got more vultures than a spaghetti western.
Someone once defined "True Superstardom" as having had smash hits in three different decades- an extremely debatable definition, because some say it sets the bar unreasonably high. I agree; that IS too high; there are many unquestioned greats who can't meet that standard.
Wes Craven did.

Mine are holding up fine, and they're not in plastic or anything; just sittin' on my shelf.
You may be fondling yours too much.
It's… actually not THAT difficult to figure it out.
Vox Day could be filled with nutrients, too.
Only one way to find out…
Blade could be white.
Harvey Dent is bi? So that coin flip really DOES decide everything.
As for Vox Day: Anyone who actively describes himself in supervillain terms should be taken at his own word.
In a franchise where Jesse Eisenberg is playing Lex Luthor, Jay Baruchel as your big bad just seems like doubling down.
Then go do it with their own characters. After all, Max himself is less iconic than, say, Snake Plissken.
Seriously, there's no need to turn everything into a branded franchise…. especially because, as Warner's accountants will point out, the MM films are kind of a niche cult thing anyway; a smart filmmaker could…
It's possible, of course; and maybe he'd even have the clout to get his way on the important things and kick the Snyderverse to the curb.
But it would be an uphill battle, and he's made it clear he wants to do more Max.
