"basically you're projecting your own issues"
"basically you're projecting your own issues"
After years of being taught to repeat the story cops dismissed as not credible when it was made originally.
I'm fully aware there's no point talking about personal things on the internet (and certainly not on THIS particular web site)… but since I, unlike you, post under my own name (and thus have no hidden agenda), …
Yes, the one Mia DOESN'T retroactively claim is really Sinatra's kid.
Funny how she never started saying that until she'd gotten all the child support she could, isn't it?
Gosh, I wonder if Mia let her brother hang out with the kids?
It's obvious; if she's "a character new to WHO", than she she must be the love child of Holmes and Watson.
If Moffat and the GOT writing staff switch shows, which one gets the better part of the deal?
Well, more to the point, it's hard to take accusations of pedophilia seriously from someone who is on the record as defending not one, but TWO known pedophiles (Polanski and her own brother).
I don't think it's "fake modesty"; I think he's just making excuses for his films going downhill.
He would never have gotten anywhere in show biz if he hadn't worked his ass off in his younger days; he's basically conceding "yeah, I ain't doing that anymore".
The STAR WARS comparison is actually spot on, in that anyone looking at either of them today will have seen so many films following in their footsteps that it's impossible to recognise what huge game-changers they were.
but basically, what STAR WARS was to sci-fi, ANNIE HALL was to romantic comedies.
Let me put it this way: I can still listen to Woody's stand-up comedy albums…. which is not something I can say about The Coz.
(to be fair, though, a big part of that may be that I -and the police- were not convinced By Mia's allegations, whereas i don't think ANYBODY believes in Cosby's innocence.)
I would have gone with Miles Morales- BUUUUUT everyone mentions that there was an EARLIER Spider-man, which puts the Raimi films into canon and lays the groundwork for Macguire coming back as Grown-Up Peter at some point.
A great Larry Hagman story involving PINK LADY AND JEFF:
Matthew Vaughn?
now looking for ways to sneak the phrase "that was pre-Dog and pre-Jizz " into casual conversation.
"RIP AND TEAR, BRUNO! RIP AND TEAR!"
Stormbringer clearly should rank above everything on this list: It does the most damage (it not only kills you, it steals your damn soul) and it's least dependent on the skill of it's wielder (Elric's basically hanging on for dear life as it drives him into a battle frenzy)
Also: highly aesthetically pleasing…
FUN FACT: Zappa hung out with The King.
It literally ran twice as long as it was supposed too (the creators figured they'd end the series at Season 5, with Clark graduating and moving to Metropolis to start his "career").
Oh yes, and the two part MUSKETEER adaptation he did with director Richard Lester is marvelous; it has a sense of irreverence, but it's actually by far the most faithful- AND historically accurate- version of the story ever filmed.
The actual Flashman movie they made is pretty decent, but Malcolm McDowell is not…
THE LEGEND OF JOHNNY BLUEJEANS WILL NOT SOON BE FORGOTTEN!
I think he should have just replaced Steve Carell when he left THE OFFICE.
