I’ve been told from a few friends who play on PS4 that the overall performance is definitely improved, but that’s also because they made major improvements to the memory streaming backend. I’m sure accidentally turning off road reflectivity definitely helps on 8 year old consoles too. But now they’re dealing with

Not enough to merit not having them at all. Honestly, it’s less than single digit frame differences pre-patch 1.3 for me. I just have less large dips when going from roaming to combat in city, but otherwise my average FPS is largely the same.

I’ve got the game too, on a 3080 no less. I just stood in the same spot and hit wait until rain started and there was no change in “wetness” or “reflectivity” of the road I was next to at all. It’s not just diminished, it’s straight up missing.

Some parts of the map seems to stay permanently “wet” looking, but rain is

Sadly, this patch has broken a bunch of sidequests as well. The Nomad car never spawns in during its quest to retrieve it now, some NPCs won’t get in the passenger seat for some quests, etc.

I love what Patch 1.3 brought in terms of some general stability and some new hidden content, but man it would be nice if things

Lots of people are reporting on Reddit that even during rain, the “wet” surfaces as seen in the above screenshot (and their reflectivity) are still missing or significantly diminished.

Relaxing is a good way to describe it. You can spend a lot of hours just building a base, exploring, or progressing the story as it is, but the game isn’t deep enough to be terribly complex - once you’ve learned to exploit trading for $$ & get a ship with a decent enough cargo space, affording things becomes trivial

Exactly.

You can shop between bad or less bad.

There’s always Gwent!

Even though CDPR also has its own bullshit with crunch.

Reposting from my twitter reply to this article but I feel this is appropriate for your header image.

Disagreements are for whether pineapple goes on pizza, not homophobia or transphobia.

Considering his argument about consensually fucking a whale, this pun is hilariously underrated.

Wild false equivalence there buddy, nothing anyone is doing on Twitch currently is illegal. If an underage person decides this is a good idea, that’s a fault on the parents for not monitoring what their kids are up to, not on Twitch for carving out a space for consenting adults to stream without breaking TOS - and if

Big nah, those are completely different scenarios. One is a blatant abuse of a power dynamic in what would otherwise be a professional job setting. For Twitch, Viewers are not in control of what a streamer decides to do, period, and trying to shift the blame to viewers because a streamer might think they’re missing

No fucking kidding considering Adam & Eve and Trojan advertises on twitch regularly.

I..wha?

I actually have not.

That’s hilarious.

Did you miss the part in the article where it explicitly reads:

Okay listen I’m not saying the facsimile *doesn’t* happen LOL

But they’re clearly not removing anything beyond the bikini knowing full ass well they’ll get Bezos’d if so much as an areola peaks out.

Oh I’m sure it was a whole team of somebodies, arguing through each angle of boob like this was harder to decode than putting a man on the moon.

Nope. Amouranth makes my yearly salary per month in subs, let alone ad revenue. I prefer to support smaller content creators. I just know that the actions of the biggest streamers tend to negatively impact the smaller ones on any platform.

For what it’s worth, I apologize for my initial assumption in my first reply to you. This opacity shit is just super irritating & people being dismissive just had me assuming the worst response.
