To be fair, it is key to remember that @Titanfallgame is run by EA, as clarified in their defense of Infinte Warfare. It might be worth mentioning it in this article too so that it’s clear it’s EA’s PR being desperate and not Respawn Entertainment :)

You can if the difficulty slider is low enough and you’re just trying to get through the story.

If you ever hit 50 and “Regenerate” (read: Prestige) paying to unlock stuff means you get it right away when you reset your level instead of having to hit that level cap again, so, food for thought if you decide to do their version of the Prestige system, buy Tone so you can use him right away again :)

The only treasure hunts you shouldn’t shun are the Witcher gear ones, because those produce the schematics for the best gear in the game. The rest give you occasionally nice relic gear, which I almost always vendor for gold instead of using. Main story and Main story-impacted sidequests are the most important.

Blood and Wine has some super-specific things you have to do to get the “best” ending or everything blows up in your face.

There are some sidequests that are pivotal to the main story you do not want to skip.

Main quests, the necessary side quests that spawn from them, and nothing else.

Doesn’t cost very many credits to unlock it early. I think it’s like 20C?

The new story content is interesting.

They regularly go for about $200 on my local Craigslist. I’ve been super tempted to pick one up. We have them at my job and they’re heavenly.

Couldn’t agree more. I cringed at that bit. Glad editing took it out.

Am I the only one that’s glad they got rid of that super cheesy “I rebel” line from Jyn? Granted, I felt like they rushed these characters so much that I never got to like her much to begin with (least not as much as I did the supporting cast) but I felt like that line was just so damn forced...

Darth Vader has kind of become a snarky sass in the new comics too though. I felt like it was in line with how they were trying to establish his character in the new EU/incorporating Anakin’s personality in the prequels

I feel suddenly validated to see this article even though I never saw it mentioned in any reviews. I screamed at Noctis so many times over this.

It’s part of the problem, yes. If I knew all I had to do was wait out the exclusivity timer and I could buy it on Steam, I would, and I’d have no problem with it.

Your first point is fine - and that’s actually not a problem to me. If you developed to only one ecosystem, so be it, and you’re not responsible for anyone using outside means (i.e. Revive) to get it to work on other hardware.

But the difference is, if the game came out on Steam, that update to support the other device comes free to you. If I already own the game on Oculus Home, not only do I get that same update, but then I am still blocked from using the other headset I own, despite having paid for the same content.

Here’s my main issue with it.

Man, I freaking loved this game back in the day. It had a wonderfully creative melee system (for the time). I would gladly play a HD remake or a sequel :\

Bypassed the Rift protections but not for all titles - I believe it only worked for Oculus Dreamdeck and Unreal titles, but not Unity titles. It was still an incomplete approach.
