Are you guys considering a review of any KB+M hardware for consoles, like the XIM 4 or the Hori Tac Pro? (Almost wrote Taco Pro. LOL)

My only opinion is I have heard from a few that open-backs are better for VR? But that’s just what I’ve heard from Reddit, so, take that with a grain of salt.

Dude. Article.
VAC is designed to catch red-handed rule-breakers in the act, so it tends to zap a couple thousand people per day
I’m not sure about you, but where I’m at, 1080p TVs are stupidly cheap now. Most people I know, of various economical standing, have at minimum a 1080p TV. Granted, my personal experience is only an anecdote, not a valid data set, I think despite the fact that general broadcast mostly is not in 1080p, most people’s…
That’s the thing though, I see too many games that regularly dip noticeably below that 30 fps line though (Witcher 3, the new Deus Ex, some Rocket League maps...)
“PS4 Pro-er”
True - Those people also don’t recognize that 4K is just the next step in resolution - it’s not like the 3D-fad where it’ll just die out due to lack of adoption. It will be the standard resolution like 1080p is now. To not care about 4K is silly.
Thanks - About 4 other people have also chimed in and reminded me that the Scorpio is actually shooting for 6Flops, so, that’s my bad. I can’t edit my post though, because Kinja.
Yikes. That last tweet by Xbox was savage. Although “greatest games” is a debatable point.
I mean, I get what you’re saying. 6TFlops is definitely aiming higher than Sony is with this PS4 for sure, so it might actually do native 4K at 30 fps. And you’re right, it’s just a paper spec sheet for now.
I mean, yeah, I guess it’s not really great to market it as:
“The PS4 Pro supports Native 4K*!”
How? Seriously, with just around 4 Tflops, how would you expect them to hit native 4K with anything close to 30 FPS?
Yeah - I figured we would get better framerates, but that was no surprise.
They said Xbox One would run at native full HD back in the day too. How’s that promise held up for them so far?
Great scott! I can’t give you that information.
Literally the only thing I was excited to see. The new hardware came as a zero surprise - it did everything I expected it to, upscale resolution, HDR support, and that’s it.
What do you mean? This is the Scorpio competitor. Scorpio isn’t going to be doing anything other than uprendering to 4K either, unless they’re gonna sell you a $700 console.
So, just to be clear (couldn’t hear everything over some talking at my work) it only upscales/uprenders to 4K using aliasing techniques, right? Still not native 4k?
Seconded. Could not agree more.
