yeah um I don’t remember ever hearing about console releases that do not function whatsoever on day one...

Understandable! I do find that I’m on my PS4 more often when I just feel like some casual gaming/putzing around when I only have an hour or two to burn before I have to go somewhere.

We do have our fair share. The difference is, no one is dipping into those developer pockets to keep them only on PC. Those are conscious decisions by the developer and their publishers (sometimes one in the same).

You make a fair point and I can concede to that. I apologize for misinterpreting.

I don’t disagree that it’s most definitely hyperbole. I was just merely providing the article to qualify why some are calling it as “destroying” the XB1.

No, you’re right my statement makes it too generalized.

Thank you - I apologize, I wasn’t trying to light a fire there. I just mean those features are equally available on PC as well. The main merits of consoles I’m sure are whether or not where most of your friends are playing, and the (comparatively) relative ease of setup.

Not using a “not-all-of-them” qualifier doesn’t make Patrick’s statement categorically untrue though.

And that is a side of the decision that is completely true.

Maybe I’m overreacting...

You can also get free games, voice chats, and party systems on PC too though ;)

There are some metrics out that suggest the PS4 is outselling the Xbox 2:1. Forbes did an article on it not that long ago.

But it’s not an absurd statement. It’s entirely true. Exclusives exist largely to lure you into one ecosystem or the other, because at the end of the day, they make more money on the game purchases than they do the hardware sales.

Ugh. Playstation All-Stars was the perfect example of “great concept, terrible execution.”

It’s unfortunate they fall under Legends because now they’re no longer canon.

Those are GREAT books! Unfortunately they fall under Legends now, but, still, I enjoyed them! :P

This a self portrait? After reading some of your posts, I’m fairly convinced.

I never said Bayonetta and Corrin were “the most ridiculous yet.” I said the whole roster is the most ridiculous (in a good way) yet.

Ha! That’s cute.

Except Snake does have an appearance on at least three Nintendo titles. The original Metal Gear (granted it was a port of the MSX2 version), Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes (a remake of MGS1), and the now non-canon MGS: Ghost Babel on Game Boy Color.
