That was basically going to be my next question. Why is it that this has never been reported before? Sikhs never go to games? Sikhs never speak out about being told they can’t enter a stadium without having their turbans searched? Or, maybe Sikhs have never before been told they need to have their headgear searched?

You've made an airtight argument here, and now I can see why this happened to the first (and only) practicing Sikhs to ever attend an NFL game.

Yes, as an article of faith, they’re required to not cut their hair and for the men to wrap their hair up in a dastar. Telling them to take their headgear off would be like telling a Christian nun to remove her wimple or telling a priest to remove his collar. Only even more so because this stuff is actually referenced

Be smart here buddy. Sikhs at airports obviously go through security, just like everyone else. The airport security use those metal detecting wands wave it against the turban and they even use gloves and pat-down the sides of the turban to make sure theres nothing but hair inside..they do this without asking the

Rather than calling people morons, you might want to consider that even the TSA doesn’t require Sikhs to remover their headgear. You do realize that it’s not just a ball cap, right?

First of all, not every one that wears a ball cap gets asked to take it off. I haven’t had to.

It is not a hat that you can take off at a whim. It is religious headgear. There is a slight difference.

Uh, many people still think mexicans ride burros and wear sarapes.

You're telling me everyone wearing a baseball cap has to remove it at security? I've been to a lot of games, and I've never been asked to take off mine.

Uh, this is the second comment like this I’ve seen and I’m sorry for ungreying this probable troll.

This is so embarrassing. I mean, how is Donald Trump even qualified to run stadium security?

Chief of San Diego Chargers Security: You remember how dangerous that Oddjob guy was with his hat, don’t you? Think about these guys using those turbans as a weapon. They could roll ‘em up like a towel and give you a right good sting. Probably leave a mark.

Sorry, this commercial ruined the name Jimmy forever.

Sikh and Islam are completely different religions which aren’t remotely related to each other. It’s like racists aren’t even trying to educate themselves anymore.
