The supposed adults, like the teachers, don't come across as auch either, really. This show is adolescent through and through.

The taking down the idol aspect wasn't exactly…subtle. I'm all for killing your idols, but it's something else how the idol was portrayed here, as the worst piece of shit imaginable. I think it would have been much more sensible to portay the author as flawed in a human way than as such a monster.

This was comical! So the revered author is a serial rapist, probably the main villiain, and his sister ties the kids up and stitches their mouth shut. And casually kills them. The scene where the author made naughty pictures of Marten really reminded me of Butterfly Effect, which was similarly over the top.
